The Polytechnic Institute of Paris (French: Institut polytechnique de Paris, pronounced [ɛ̃stity pɔlitɛknik də paʁi]) is a public technological university located in Palaiseau, France. It consists of six engineering grandes écoles: École polytechnique, ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, École nationale des ponts et chaussées, Télécom Paris and Télécom SudParis. With the Paris-Saclay University, the Polytechnic Institute of Paris is part of the Paris-Saclay project, which is a research-intensive academic campus and business cluster being developed on the Plateau de Saclay near Paris. The project integrates several engineering schools and research centers that are part of the world's top research organizations in various fields. The technological university was formed around the École polytechnique, one of the most respected and selective grandes écoles in France. Among its alumni and teachers are five Nobel Prize winners, two Fields medalists, three presidents of France and many CEOs of French and international companies.

HEC Paris (French: École des hautes études commerciales de Paris) is an international business school established in 1881 and located in Jouy-en-Josas, France. Among the most selective French grandes écoles, HEC Paris offers its flagship Master in Management, MBA and EMBA programs, specialized MSc programs, a PhD program, and executive education offerings.
HEC Paris has constantly been ranked the best business school in France, and among the top in the world. HEC alumni include 12 current CEOs of F500 companies - more than any other business school in the world and third institution only to Harvard and Stanford -, several heads of states and governments, heads of international organizations, and other prominent figures in politics, business, and the arts.
